Is Couples Therapy Right for Us?
You’re functioning well in life, but the relationship needs attention.
Teletherapy with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist allows motivated adults, couples, and families to access meaningful support without leaving their home or office. Serving the Atlanta Metro Area and statewide through secure virtual sessions, I offer online counseling for clients who want purposeful and sustainable growth. Because of this, many motivated clients choose to begin therapy even though they are functioning well in their daily lives. However, they often recognize that they could feel more balanced, more connected, and more emotionally steady. As a result, teletherapy becomes a proactive investment in their well-being.
You want to improve day-to-day communication
Conflict or reactivity is creating distance
You still care about each other but feel stuck in patterns
You want support navigating stress, transitions, or trust repair
Although they manage their responsibilities, many clients notice patterns that continue to repeat. In addition, stress, relationships, or major life transitions may create challenges that feel difficult to navigate alone. Therefore, Georgia teletherapy for professionals provides a structured and supportive place to explore these experiences with clarity, direction, and intention.
I lived in Sandy Springs in 2001 and, since then, have maintained strong connections throughout the Atlanta Metro community. Because of these long-standing relationships, I understand the culture, pace, and expectations that shape the lives of motivated individuals and couples across Georgia. Consequently, my approach reflects what high-achieving clients often need: clarity, accountability, and practical tools for healthier emotional functioning. You can read more about my background and training on my bio page.
Our Georgia teletherapy services support couples who want a stronger and more connected relationship, but feel stuck in repeating communication patterns, distance, or tension. Through secure online sessions across the Atlanta Metro area and statewide, I help partners slow things down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin working toward healthier communication and emotional balance — together. I work with motivated clients who are functioning well yet want to improve how they think, feel, and relate. In addition, they are open to new strategies and ready for meaningful change, rather than waiting for a crisis to force it.
Entrepreneurs often carry consistently high levels of stress. Consequently, they may feel overwhelmed, fatigued, or disconnected even when things look successful from the outside.
Early-career success can feel exciting; however, it can also bring self-doubt and a constant need to prove yourself. Because of this, emerging professionals may struggle to truly enjoy what they have worked so hard to build.
Couples frequently want a stronger connection, yet they feel stuck in unhelpful cycles. In many cases, both partners are high-functioning and caring; nevertheless, communication patterns and stress can create distance.
Performance-driven clients often feel mentally strong, but they may still experience emotional blocks that affect training, creativity, or competition. As a result, they may feel stuck between what they know they can do and what actually happens under pressure.

My approach blends clinical therapy with mind-body practices. Because of this, motivated clients appreciate how the work helps them understand patterns and create realistic change. In other words, you learn both why you react a certain way and what to do next.
Additionally, I use strategies that support emotional stability, physical awareness, and relational clarity. Together, we explore how your history, nervous system, beliefs, and environment all interact. As a whole, this reflects my broader integrative mental health counseling philosophy at The Family Room Wellness Associates.
Ultimately, this integrative approach is designed for high performers who want depth, clarity, and concrete tools rather than surface-level conversations.
I focus on motivated clients who are stable and functioning well. Therefore, I do not treat crisis or forensic cases. To stay aligned with my scope and to keep your care safe, I do not work with:
Instead, my work centers on helping clients who want purposeful, proactive growth and are ready to engage in the process. If you are currently in crisis, resources such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline may offer more immediate support.

When it supports your therapeutic work, I refer to trusted Georgia-based professionals, including Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) practitioners, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and integrative and functional health providers. In many situations, this collaborative approach allows you to address emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors in a more complete way.
While most Georgia-based clients work with me via teletherapy, I also offer curated in-person services when appropriate. These may include one- and two-day therapeutic intensives, mind-body performance retreats, leadership workshops, and speaking engagements. Consequently, clients who want deeper or accelerated work have additional options beyond weekly sessions. You can explore more of what we offer on our therapy services page.
If you are a motivated individual, couple, athlete, performance artist, or emerging professional seeking clarity, emotional regulation, and grounded support, I would be honored to work with you. Because you are already functioning at a high level, even small internal shifts can create significant change. To get started, you can contact me directly through the contact page.
