If you live throughout Georgia — from Atlanta to Savannah — and you’re looking for a therapist who works beneath the surface, you’re in the right place. Telehealth therapy Georgia residents can access from home — no commute, no waiting room, and the same depth-focused work. I’m Jason Wasser, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering integrative sessions to adults statewide. If you recently relocated to Georgia from out of state, I work with a lot of transplants who want to pick up where their last therapist left off, without starting over.
My approach is integrative and mind-body focused. That means we’re not just talking about your week — we’re working with how stress, trauma, and relational patterns live in your nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns you can’t seem to escape, or a sense that something feels persistently off, therapy with me goes deeper than surface-level coping strategies.
Telehealth therapy in Georgia means you can access this level of care from your home, office, or anywhere private — no commute, no waiting room, the same quality of work.
My telehealth practice in Georgia primarily serves high-functioning adults who are managing well externally but feel stuck, disconnected, or chronically depleted. Common presenting areas include:
The issues that bring Georgia clients in are familiar — anxiety, burnout, relationship friction, life transitions, and the quiet sense that something underneath isn’t quite right. Telehealth therapy Georgia offers the same integrative, mind-body approach Jason brings to every session — without requiring you to fight Atlanta traffic or rearrange your week around a commute. A free 15-minute consultation is the easiest way to see whether this work might be the right fit for where you are right now. The American Psychological Association notes that consistent access to a well-matched therapist is one of the strongest predictors of lasting progress.
Georgia stretches from the Appalachian Mountains in the north to the coastal plains near Savannah, and the range of communities it holds is just as wide. Whether you live in the Atlanta metro area, Augusta, Columbus, or a smaller town without nearby mental health specialists, telehealth therapy Georgia residents can access brings focused, depth-oriented care directly to you. For high-functioning adults managing demanding careers or family dynamics, removing the logistics of in-person therapy often makes the difference between starting and not starting.
Yes. I hold an active LMFT license in Georgia, as well as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Tennessee.
Yes — telehealth licensure is based on where you are located at the time of the session. As long as you’re physically in Georgia (or one of my other licensed states) when we meet, we can work together.
The first session is a 50-minute intake. We cover what brought you in, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to shift. I’ll share my initial impressions and we’ll decide together whether it’s a good fit before committing to ongoing work.
I work on a private-pay basis. I do not bill insurance directly, which keeps our work confidential and free from limitations on session frequency or approach. I can provide a monthly superbill if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your plan.
Yes. If you relocated to Georgia from another state, you can start with me as long as you’re physically in Georgia during our sessions — that’s how telehealth licensure works. A lot of my Georgia clients are people who moved in the last year or two and want continuity of care rather than starting over with someone new. We can pick up wherever your last therapy left off.
