If you live throughout New Jersey — from Newark to the Shore — and you’re looking for a therapist who works beneath the surface, you’re in the right place. Telehealth therapy New Jersey residents can access from home — no commute, no waiting room, and the same depth-focused work. I’m Jason Wasser, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering integrative sessions to adults statewide. If you recently relocated to New Jersey from out of state, I work with a lot of transplants who want to pick up where their last therapist left off, without starting over.
My approach is integrative and mind-body focused. That means we’re not just talking about your week — we’re working with how stress, trauma, and relational patterns live in your nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns you can’t seem to escape, or a sense that something feels persistently off, therapy with me goes deeper than surface-level coping strategies.
Telehealth therapy in New Jersey means you can access this level of care from your home, office, or anywhere private — no commute, no waiting room, the same quality of work.
My telehealth practice in New Jersey primarily serves high-functioning adults who are managing well externally but feel stuck, disconnected, or chronically depleted. Common presenting areas include:
New Jersey’s dense, fast-moving culture — from the northern suburbs just outside New York City to the shore communities and college towns further south — makes in-person therapy a logistical challenge for most working adults. Telehealth therapy New Jersey residents can access removes that barrier entirely. You can meet with Jason from your home, your office, or anywhere private, which makes consistent ongoing therapeutic work much easier to build and sustain even inside a packed schedule.
The clients Jason works with across New Jersey are typically high-functioning adults who are performing well externally but carrying anxiety, burnout, relationship tension, or a persistent sense of disconnection. Telehealth therapy New Jersey brings integrative, mind-body work directly to you — without sacrificing depth for convenience. Sessions happen over a secure video platform, and most clients find it easy to settle into within the first few minutes. A free 15-minute consultation is the right first step. The American Psychological Association notes that consistent access to a well-matched therapist is one of the strongest predictors of lasting progress.
I hold an active LMFT license in New Jersey and provide telehealth therapy to clients anywhere in the state — this isn’t limited to a specific list of cities or zip codes. Below are a few of the communities I currently work with as examples, not a complete or exclusive list. Every session is conducted securely online, and I don’t maintain a physical office in New Jersey.
Yes. I hold an active LMFT license in New Jersey, as well as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Tennessee.
Yes — telehealth licensure is based on where you are located at the time of the session. As long as you’re physically in New Jersey (or one of my other licensed states) when we meet, we can work together.
The first session is a 50-minute intake. We cover what brought you in, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to shift. I’ll share my initial impressions and we’ll decide together whether it’s a good fit before committing to ongoing work.
I work on a private-pay basis. I do not bill insurance directly, which keeps our work confidential and free from limitations on session frequency or approach. I can provide a monthly superbill if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your plan.
Yes. If you relocated to New Jersey from another state, you can start with me as long as you’re physically in New Jersey during our sessions — that’s how telehealth licensure works. A lot of my New Jersey clients are people who moved in the last year or two and want continuity of care rather than starting over with someone new. We can pick up wherever your last therapy left off.
