If you live across Missouri — from St. Louis to Kansas City — and you’re looking for a therapist who works beneath the surface, you’re in the right place. Telehealth therapy Missouri residents can access from home — no commute, no waiting room, and the same depth-focused work. I’m Jason Wasser, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering integrative sessions to adults statewide. If you recently relocated to Missouri from out of state, I work with a lot of transplants who want to pick up where their last therapist left off, without starting over.
My approach is integrative and mind-body focused. That means we’re not just talking about your week — we’re working with how stress, trauma, and relational patterns live in your nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns you can’t seem to escape, or a sense that something feels persistently off, therapy with me goes deeper than surface-level coping strategies.
Telehealth therapy in Missouri means you can access this level of care from your home, office, or anywhere private — no commute, no waiting room, the same quality of work.
My telehealth practice in Missouri primarily serves high-functioning adults who are managing well externally but feel stuck, disconnected, or chronically depleted. Common presenting areas include:
Missouri’s geography creates real barriers to mental health access — whether you’re in the urban core of Kansas City or St. Louis, the college towns in between, or the rural stretches that make up most of the state. Telehealth therapy Missouri residents can access through Jason removes the commute and the logistical friction entirely. Sessions happen over secure video, and most clients find a rhythm of consistent weekly work that they couldn’t sustain with in-person appointments. Many clients in Missouri maintain demanding careers, raise families, and still carry unaddressed stress that builds over time — teletherapy in Missouri means support is available without rearranging your entire day.
The clients Jason works with across Missouri are typically high-functioning adults who are managing work, family, and internal pressure at the same time. Many are seeking therapy not because they are in crisis but because something beneath the surface isn’t working — persistent anxiety, relationship patterns that keep repeating, or a sense of disconnection from themselves. Telehealth therapy Missouri makes it easy to show up consistently, wherever you are. If you’re ready to do real work, a free 15-minute consultation is the right starting point. The American Psychological Association notes that consistent access to a well-matched therapist is one of the strongest predictors of lasting progress.
Yes. I hold an active LMFT license in Missouri, as well as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Tennessee.
Yes — telehealth licensure is based on where you are located at the time of the session. As long as you’re physically in Missouri (or one of my other licensed states) when we meet, we can work together.
The first session is a 50-minute intake. We cover what brought you in, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to shift. I’ll share my initial impressions and we’ll decide together whether it’s a good fit before committing to ongoing work.
I work on a private-pay basis. I do not bill insurance directly, which keeps our work confidential and free from limitations on session frequency or approach. I can provide a monthly superbill if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your plan.
Yes. If you relocated to Missouri from another state, you can start with me as long as you’re physically in Missouri during our sessions — that’s how telehealth licensure works. A lot of my Missouri clients are people who moved in the last year or two and want continuity of care rather than starting over with someone new. We can pick up wherever your last therapy left off.
Book a free 15-minute consultation through my Contact Us page. We’ll connect briefly, you can ask questions, and if it’s a fit we’ll set up your first full session.
