If you live throughout Florida — from the Panhandle to South Florida — and you’re looking for a therapist who works beneath the surface, you’re in the right place. Telehealth therapy Florida residents can access from home — no commute, no waiting room, and the same quality of depth-focused work. I’m Jason Wasser, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering integrative sessions to adults statewide. If you recently relocated from New York, California, or elsewhere, I work with a lot of transplants who want to pick up where their last therapist left off, without starting over.
My approach is integrative and mind-body focused. That means we’re not just talking about your week — we’re working with how stress, trauma, and relational patterns live in your nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns you can’t seem to escape, or a sense that something feels persistently off, therapy with me goes deeper than surface-level coping strategies.
Telehealth therapy in Florida means you can access this level of care from your home, office, or anywhere private — no commute, no waiting room, the same quality of work.
My telehealth practice in Florida primarily serves high-functioning adults who are managing well externally but feel stuck, disconnected, or chronically depleted. Common presenting areas include:
Florida is one of the most populous states in the country, and the range of communities it holds is enormous — from the urban density of Miami and Fort Lauderdale to the quieter suburban stretches of Tampa Bay, Central Florida, and the Space Coast. Telehealth therapy Florida residents can access is especially well suited for high-functioning adults managing careers, families, or both, who need care that fits around real life. No commute, no waiting room — just focused, depth-oriented work from wherever you are in Florida.
Whether you’re in Hollywood, Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Gainesville, or a smaller community further inland, the geographic reach of telehealth therapy Florida makes meaningful support accessible anywhere in the state. The concerns that bring most clients in aren’t dramatic — it’s more often a slow build of anxiety, burnout, relationship friction, or a persistent sense of being stuck that doesn’t resolve on its own. If that resonates, a free 15-minute consultation is the simplest next step toward finding out whether this is a fit. The American Psychological Association notes that consistent access to a well-matched therapist is one of the strongest predictors of lasting progress.
Yes. I hold an active LMFT license in Florida, as well as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Tennessee.
Yes — telehealth licensure is based on where you are located at the time of the session. As long as you’re physically in Florida (or one of my other licensed states) when we meet, we can work together.
Yes. If you relocated from New York, California, or another state, you can start with me as long as you’re physically in Florida during our sessions — that’s how telehealth licensure works. A lot of my Florida clients are people who moved in the last year or two and want continuity of care rather than starting over with someone new. We can pick up wherever your last therapy left off.
The first session is a full intake. We cover what brought you in, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to shift. I’ll share my initial impressions and we’ll decide together whether it’s a good fit before committing to ongoing work.
I work on a private-pay basis. I do not bill insurance directly, which keeps our work confidential and free from limitations on session frequency or approach. I can provide a monthly superbill if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your plan. As required by federal law, I also provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before you begin care.
Book a free 15-minute consultation through my Contact Us page. We’ll connect briefly, you can ask questions, and if it’s a fit we’ll set up your first full session.
