If you live throughout Massachusetts — from Boston to the Berkshires — and you’re looking for a therapist who works beneath the surface, you’re in the right place. Telehealth therapy Massachusetts residents can access from home — no commute, no waiting room, and the same depth-focused work. I’m Jason Wasser, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering integrative sessions to adults statewide. If you recently relocated to Massachusetts from out of state, I work with a lot of transplants who want to pick up where their last therapist left off, without starting over.
My approach is integrative and mind-body focused. That means we’re not just talking about your week — we’re working with how stress, trauma, and relational patterns live in your nervous system. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns you can’t seem to escape, or a sense that something feels persistently off, therapy with me goes deeper than surface-level coping strategies.
Telehealth therapy in Massachusetts means you can access this level of care from your home, office, or anywhere private — no commute, no waiting room, the same quality of work.
My telehealth practice in Massachusetts primarily serves high-functioning adults who are managing well externally but feel stuck, disconnected, or chronically depleted. Common presenting areas include:
Massachusetts has some of the highest concentrations of therapists in the country, yet access to the right fit — someone who works at depth and meets you where you actually are — remains elusive for many people. Telehealth therapy Massachusetts residents can access through Jason removes the geography problem. Whether you live in Boston, the South Shore, the Pioneer Valley, or the Cape, sessions happen over secure video on a schedule that fits your life.
The clients Jason works with across Massachusetts range from academics and healthcare professionals in Boston to entrepreneurs in the western hill towns. High external performance often coexists with anxiety, relationship strain, or a persistent sense of emptiness that never quite gets addressed. Telehealth therapy Massachusetts makes it possible to do serious, consistent work without fitting an office commute into an already compressed schedule. If that sounds familiar, a free 15-minute consultation is the right place to start. Most clients find that the consistency of weekly telehealth sessions — without the friction of travel — makes deeper progress possible than they expected. The American Psychological Association notes that consistent access to a well-matched therapist is one of the strongest predictors of lasting progress.
I hold an active LMFT license in Massachusetts and provide telehealth therapy to clients anywhere in the state — this isn’t limited to a specific list of cities or zip codes. Below are a few of the communities I currently work with as examples, not a complete or exclusive list. Every session is conducted securely online, and I don’t maintain a physical office in Massachusetts.
Yes. I hold an active LMFT license in Massachusetts, as well as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Tennessee.
Yes — telehealth licensure is based on where you are located at the time of the session. As long as you’re physically in Massachusetts (or one of my other licensed states) when we meet, we can work together.
The first session is a 50-minute intake. We cover what brought you in, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to shift. I’ll share my initial impressions and we’ll decide together whether it’s a good fit before committing to ongoing work.
I work on a private-pay basis. I do not bill insurance directly, which keeps our work confidential and free from limitations on session frequency or approach. I can provide a monthly superbill if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your plan.
Yes. If you relocated to Massachusetts from another state, you can start with me as long as you’re physically in Massachusetts during our sessions — that’s how telehealth licensure works. A lot of my Massachusetts clients are people who moved in the last year or two and want continuity of care rather than starting over with someone new. We can pick up wherever your last therapy left off.
