Therapy for High Performers
For executives, founders, athletes, creatives, musicians — and the families and businesses built around them.
You look fine on the outside. You are competent, accomplished, and probably the person other people lean on. That is exactly why the exhaustion, the perfectionism, or the quiet dread before the next big moment is so hard to name out loud, let alone bring to a therapist who has never worked with someone at your level of pressure.
Standard talk therapy is built for people in crisis. High performers usually are not in crisis — they are stuck at a plateau that insight alone has not moved: burnout that sleep does not fix, imposter syndrome that success does not quiet, or a pattern of overfunctioning that has started to cost real relationships.
Therapy That Fits a Demanding Schedule
Most clients work with me through secure video sessions from wherever they are — on the road, between meetings, or after the kids are asleep. In-person sessions are also available at my Hollywood, Florida office.

Why High Performers Need a Different Kind of Therapy
High achievers tend to seek therapy for a specific set of reasons: perfectionism that never lets up, imposter syndrome despite real evidence of success, burnout that looks like exhaustion but runs deeper, and relationships that keep losing out to work. These patterns are rarely solved by insight alone, because they are held in the body’s stress response as much as in the mind.
My approach combines conventional psychotherapy with nervous-system-informed and relational methods, so the work reaches what pure talk therapy often leaves untouched — whether that shows up on a trading floor, a stage, a locker room, or a family dinner table.

- Why would a high performer need therapy if they are already successful?
- Success and struggle are not mutually exclusive. Many high performers carry perfectionism, overfunctioning, or burnout that success has masked rather than solved. Therapy addresses the pattern underneath the performance, not just the symptoms that show up when it finally breaks down.
- Do you work with athletes on mental performance specifically?
- Yes. That work blends therapy with mental performance strategies — addressing performance anxiety, pressure, identity, and setbacks alongside the same nervous-system-informed methods used across my practice.
- What does therapy for creatives and musicians look like?
- It focuses on the specific pressures of creative work: perfectionism, visibility and public critique, burnout from the business side of a creative career, and sustaining creative output without losing yourself to it.
- Can you work with our whole family or family business?
- Yes. Family business therapy addresses succession, communication, and wealth dynamics — the relational strain that builds when family relationships and business decisions are tangled together.
- Do you offer teletherapy or only in-person sessions?
- Both. I hold active LMFT telehealth licenses in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Tennessee, and I also see clients in person at my Hollywood, Florida office.
- Do you take insurance?
- My practice is fully out-of-network and private-pay. Many clients submit superbills to their insurer for partial reimbursement under out-of-network benefits.
